Is On To The Next Political Adventure
Jeanette Marie Spurlock
Candidate For
U.S. Congress; South Carolina’s District 7
The Strong Can Not Be Manipulated
“Fellow Republican,
So you’re all excited or motivated about some issue, campaign or candidate and you decide it’s time to volunteer and try to make a difference? That’s great. But there’s always a risk that we’ll be overzealous, jump into anything and everything with both feet, and soon get burned out.
If that happens, you won’t have much of an impact on anything. If you really want to make a difference over the long haul, you’ll look (and think) before you leap and not make commitments that overwhelm you or that you just get tired of doing.”
-Drew McKissick
The words above were the opening statement in an email that the SCGOP Chairman sent out to everyone in the email database. You may or may not have received it, but as your candidate I find it my duty to be sure that you are aware of the manipulations that are taking place. I want you to be aware that our state chairman thinks you will grow weary and burn-out by jumping in and fighting for America and Americans alike. He insinuates that we do not have the strength nor resilience to stay the distance, to rally behind the candidates and issues that are most important to us. As your candidate, I believe otherwise.
When I signed my name to the candidate list, I signed knowing that I had the drive and the love for America, and for you, The American People. I signed up knowing that together we would make a difference and that we would never grow weary of fighting for our freedoms.
The 56 delegates to the Second Continental Congress who signed the Declaration of Independence, never found themselves “burned out” and never tired from demanding that the tyranny and control over the people must end. They were true believers in our Right To Freedom and were willing to stand against injustices and they never tired from it. The strength and might is in our bloodline to fight for America and for our freedoms just as those who came before us did. Anyone that suggests otherwise is manipulating you.
This zealous task to place the right people in the right places, to find solutions to issues, is our duty. It is our duty to take on a government that no longer works for The People, to challenge those in leadership positions that may have ulterior motives that are a benefit to themselves and not We The People. I know that together we will make a difference and we will not be manipulated into believing that we do not have the willpower to move forward with our plight.
Unlike Mr. McKissick, I encourage you to fight on, campaigning, supporting the candidate of YOUR choice, fighting for issues and causes, and to never give up.
Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Isaiah 40:31 - But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
